Do you take appointments for service work?
Our service department is a "First come first serve" basis. We have found the easiest and fairest way to do our work is to NOT allow appointments. We know our boating season is rather short and we do our very best to get you turned around as quickly as possible.

How long does it usually take to have my boat serviced?
We pride ourselves on quick turnaround! We even have an in house system to track our own performance for turnaround time. If we need to order any special order parts for your motor it may take a little longer. Service to your boat sometimes takes a little longer due to variables sometimes beyond our control. We service several commercial agencies at Hallberg's, they come to us because of our turnaround time and reputation of quality work.

Do you work on older motors?
We do not work on anything older than model year 1991. We find it is difficult in some cases to find parts for some older motors.
Therefore we have a policy for all older motors of that age range to discontinue service of them. We can
recommend a couple of places that
do work on older motors that you can call.

What are your service hours?
Our service hours are as follows:
Summer Hours
That's 66.5 hours a week! Not every dealer has as convenient hours as Hallberg Marine.
Winter Hours

Do you have any service specials?

Do you do warrranty work on boats/motors that were not purchased through Hallberg's?

What is covered under a typical factory motor warranty?
Motor warranties typically cover mechanical manufacture defects. Each brand and HP is a little different on what they do cover and for how long. Any adjustments, general maintenance or maintenance items (spark plugs, water pumps, impellers, props and thermostats) are not covered. What is the warranty on your repairs?
Our self imposed warranty on our shop labor is 30 days from pickup. Typically your replaced warranted part has a manufacturer's warranty of 30-90 days after the repair.

Do you do fiberglass and aluminum boat repair?
We specialize in it! Hallberg's has one of the best fiberglass and aluminum technicians in the business. From simple gel coat scratches to major insurance jobs. Re-riveting aluminum boats to all sorts of aluminum welding. Bang your pontoon on the something? Hit a dead head in the water? We can help you. We can work for you with your insurance company if you don't want the hassle.

Do you do insurance estimates on boats and pontoons?
We see and do it all the time. Unfortunately, all too often do we see boats that have mishaps and damage that occurs over the summer. We will work with your insurance company directly if you like. It does not matter what the maker of the boat or pontoon is either. Even if we don't sell that brand, we can help you.

Do you work on boat trailers?
Yes we do. We have a full time trailer mechanic that can service your bearings, lights, tires, brakes, etc. Unfortunately we do not paint trailers.
